The hosts crumbled out for just 42 runs, as the tournament favourites Bangladesh race into the semi-finals whereas the hosts crash out of the competition.

Bangladesh were already riding high by winning the opening match. This seemed to be another piece of cake for the in-form Tigress. The hosts were beaten decisively as the Dutch got bundled out for a meagre 42 runs.

Fahima Khatun and Rumana Ahmed picked 3 wickets each paving the base for the major collapse of the Netherlands line-up. Nahida Akter and Salma Khatun too bowled economic spells that were crucial for the collective bowling attack.

The Netherlands lost 6-wickets in the span of 6 runs after scoring 37/4 wickets in 12 overs. Panna Ghosh who picked 3 wickets in the opening match again scalped 2 wickets in this match.

Bangladesh chasing a low scoring encountering as the Dutch certainly showed some initial force to restrict the Tigress but Bangladeshi batters achieved the target under 8 overs. Cher Vane Slobbe picked up two wickets with an impressive economy rate of 2 r.p.o. but in a losing cause.

Fahima Khutan was adjudged the Player of the match for her superlative spell of 3/3.
