Thailand retain their top spot by beating Kuwait by 9 wickets

Thailand retaining the great form they are in, restricted Kuwait for a mere total of 38 runs. Their skipper Tippoch led from the front and destroyed the Kuwait batting line up with the bowling figures of (4/8), well supported by S Laomi with (3/11). Thailand chased the total down in 7.2 overs with a loss of 1 wicket and Chaiwai finished off the match with a boundary.

Brief Score: Kuwait 38/10 (SL Gomez 6, Amna Tariq 1/6) lost to Thailand 41/1 (N Chaiwai 14, S Tippoch 4/8, S Laomi 3/11) by 9 wickets.

 

UAE beat China by 27 runs

After losing to Nepal, UAE was back to the winning ways. Batting first, UAE reached to a total of 95 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. CR Seneviratna was the top scorer and scored 32 runs off 37 balls. Han Lili of China, while chasing the total scored 19 runs before succumbing to a run out. S Venkataraman  made sure that the Chinese didn’t reach the target with excellent  bowling figures of (3/2), restricting the batters to a total of 68 runs.

Nary Thapa stars as Nepal beat Hong Kong by 4 wickets

Batting first, Hong Kong got off to a steady start. However Nepal’s Nary Thapa rattled their batting line up by picking up 6 wickets in 4 overs restricting Hong Kong to a total of 62 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Apsara Begum with her 24 runs off 35 balls helped Nepal chase the total in 18.3 overs. JE Titmuss’s 3 wickets went in vain as Nepal beat Hong Kong by 4 wickets.
