The ICC Women's World T20 has started with a bang in the very first match between India and New Zealand at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. After having chosen to bat first, India made some changes in their batting order. When their changing batting order failed to surprise others, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur joined 18-year old Jemimah Rodrigues at the crease within the powerplay.
After being in a wonderful form for the last couple of months, Harmanpreet Kaur smashed her first T20I hundred with a 49 balls with 7 fours and 8 sixes. This is the first T20I hundred scored by an Indian as well.
