Thailand team announced for the upcoming Asia Cup

As the Asia Cup is around the corner, Thailand Cricket Board has announced the squad that will represent Thailand in the upcoming Asia Cup to be played in Malaysia. The tournament will take place from June 3-10, 2018.



The seventh edition of the tournament comprises six teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and hosts Malaysia. Except for the host nation, all the other teams have played before in the Asia Cup. Malaysia will take part for the first time in this tournament. Each team will play against the other teams once and the top two teams will compete in the final.



Thailand Team includes 15 members with Sornnarin Tippoch leading the squad. The players are a blend of youth and experience which have been selected in the squad.



Captain of Thailand Team, Sornnarin Tippoch told, "Win or lose I am proud of my team because I know that every one of us will give our 100%. We play with our hearts."
