New Update
India Red, India Blue, and India Green team will compete with each other and the top two teams will compete in the final.
India Red will be led by Deepti Sharma while India ODI Captain Mithali Raj will lead India Blue. Veda Krishnamurthy will lead India Green. The three teams are a mix of top performers at the national and domestic level. This is the good platform for the young cricketers to learn from the veterans.
India T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana will miss the T20 Challenger Trophy as they are currently representing Lancashire Thunder and Western Storm respectively in England's Super League. Smriti Mandhana led India Blue to victory in the tournament's last edition in January 2018.
This tournament will help them to prepare for the Women’s T20 World Cup which will be held later this year in the Caribbean.
