Sweden is all set to host Norway for a three-match T20I series, with the first fixture scheduled to be played on Saturday (August 28) at Guttsta Wicked Cricket Ground in Kolsva. This series will mark the debut of Sweden in international cricket.
The first two matches will be played on August 28, followed by the final T20I on Sunday (August 29), according to a report by czarsportz.com. The teams will be assembling a day before the series for a skills training session conducted by former South African men's cricketers Jonty Rhodes and Dominic Tello.
Cricket Sweden conducted a domestic competition earlier in the month, in which they played the T20 format for the first time. Norway players, too, had participated in domestic competition at home before this series. While Sweden will be making their international debut, Norway had played in the quadrangular series hosted by France in 2019.
