Sri Lanka have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC World T20 tournament in the Caribbean in November. The squad is near-identical which played the home series against India last month.

Anushka Sanjeewani and Sharina Ravikumar, who both were the part of the squad during India series, couldn't make it to the WT20 squad. Imalka Mendis, who last played in T20I against Pakistan in March, too found herself out of the squad.

Experienced Ranaweera and Nipuni Hansika along with Sanjeewani, Harsitha Madavi and Imalka Mendis are listed among the reserve players.

After having performed wonderfully, Nilakshi de Silva has retained her place in the squad along with Kavisha Dilhari; who made her debut in the shortest format against India last month.

The 15-member squad will be led by Chamari Athapaththu. Sri Lanka will start their World T20 campaign against England on November 10 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia.
