Bangladesh beat Ireland to win the ICC World T20 Qualifiers

The ICC women's T20 qualifier will begin in Scotland from August 31 and will end on September 7.  All the matches of qualifiers will be played at the Forfarshire Cricket Club in Dundee and Arbroath Cricket Club.



Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and the United States of America form Group A, while Group B consists of Ireland, Thailand, Namibia and the Netherlands. All teams getting to play at both venues.



Eight teams will fight it out to decide the semifinals with the winners of two semifinals ensuring a place in the World T20 to be held in Australia. The semifinals and the finals will also be played at Forfarshire Cricket Club.



Graeme Le Brooy of the ICC international panel of match referees will be the tournament referee, while umpiring responsibilities will be shared between Claire Polosak, Jacqueline Williams, Sue Redfern, Kim Cotton, Eloise Sheridan and Lauren Agenbach all from the ICC development panel of umpires. Denis Burns will undertake the role of umpire coach for the tournament.
