Melbourne Renegades have announced their squad for upcoming Women's Big Bash League. They have three replacements this year. Rhiann O'Donnell, Jenny Taffs, Hayley Jensen have been replaced by Danni Wyatt, Courtney Webb and Anna Lanning.

Danni Wyatt returns to the team after she was left out for a year, and is considered as an important addition in this WBBL. Her form in recent games is amazing and this can help Renegades to have a better league when compared to previous ones.

Anna Lanning, the 24-year-old all-rounder has played 30 matches and has scored 262 runs for Melbourne Stars in the WBBL. Courtney Webb an 18-year pacer is new to WBBL and her performance on her debut against Western Australia, taking 2-27 has impressed everyone. She will be a puzzle for her opponents for sure.

Renegades Coach Tim Coyle recently told, "We’ve shown we’ve got a squad capable of beating the best sides in the competition and these signings will provide further depth while also ensuring there is fierce competition for spots in the final XI."

"Danni will bring so much to our group not just through her cricketing talent and experience, but also the energy she provides around the group."

He further added, "Jess and Claire were key members of our squad last season and they will have important roles to play again. Anna and Erica have played at this level before and Courtney is an emerging talent that we’re really excited about."

Amy Satterthwaite will continue to lead the team. She ended as the highest run scorer of her side scoring 368 from 14 matches with an average of 33.45 and a strike rate of 108.55 last year. Lea Tahuhu was their leading wicket-taker with 16 wickets.
