Perth Scorchers win the ultimate super over after Heather Graham scores the all important runs in the final over before restricting the Hurricanes in the Super Over.

Batting first, Hurricanes who had won the toss started off on a very positive note with both their openers firing all cylinders. Mandhana and Fazackerley hit 59 in the powerplay losing Mandhana on the penultimate ball for 38(23) with 5 fours and a six. Fazackerley continued the good work with Daffara hitting 80 in the first 10 overs as Hurricanes lost Fazackerley for 36.

Stafanie Daffara scored a 29-ball-31 with 3 fours and a six before she became Graham's second wicket of the day. The Hurricanes' middle order didn't do well as they went down to 142-6 in 17.3 overs. Hurricanes skipper Sasha Moloney smacked a six and 3 fours to hit 12-ball-23 before losing her wicket to Jensen in the final over. Hurricanes registered 173-7 in their innings with Graham bagging 2 wickets.

Amy Jones and Elyse Villani started the innings for Scorchers. The two began well before Jones lost the battle to Hepburn for 21 in the fifth over. Elyse Villani played the anchor's role for Scorchers as Bolton and the newly promoted Cross lost their wickets. The Scorchers skipper after scoring 5 boundaries lost to her counterpart for 41 off 34 but Graham had other plans in place.

Heather Graham started off slowly before hitting 16 runs in the final over off Heather Knight as the scores got level on 173-6.

Bolton and Villani began the super over for Scorchers with Hepburn to bowl. With a boundary and a six, Bolton (15) smashed Scorchers to a score of 16/0.

With Mandhana and Knight for Hurricanes, it looked an easy task for the Canes but Graham who was playing her 50th WBBL game took the wickets of both the internationals to restrict the side from Hobart to 10/2, hereby Scorchers winning the game.
