Three-wicket haul from Rumana Ahmed and two-wickets from Jahanara Alam restricted Ireland within 95 in their first official warm-up game.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field first. Put into bat, Ireland didn't get an ideal start. They got the big blow when Jahanara Alam picked up Clare Shillington within 3rd over. Rebecca Stokell was the second one to fall to Ahmed's clever bowling. The middle order too failed miserably as none of the top 6 crossed the 20 run score.

Kim Garth played a valiant innings as she top-scored with 35 off 38. She along with Eimear Richardson added 39 runs before Jahanara Alam cleaned up her stumps. The economical spells from the bowlers and fall of wickets at regular intervals restricted Ireland's innings within 83 runs at the end of the 20 overs. Gaby Lewis, Shauna Kavanagh, Kim Garth and Eimear Richardson were the only batters to reach the double-figure.

Bangladesh started well with Ayasha Rahman looking in form. The openers had a 37 run opening stand before Shamima Sultana became Ireland's first victim getting run out by Lucy O'Reilly. Her opening partner, Ayasha Rahman, soon followed her to the dugout throwing up a good start becoming Garth's first victim as she missed her stumps. Joty and Ahmed got out for ducks as Garth continued her impressive day without getting any run added to the score.

Sanjida Islam then had a 48 runs unbeaten partnership with Fargana Hoque for the sixth wicket to seal the victory for Bangladesh.

As for Bangladesh, it was little contributions from the entire team while for Ireland, Kim Garth was the only positive picking 3 wickets following her 35 with the bat.
