Bangladesh were already riding high by winning the opening match. This seemed to be another piece of cake for the in-form Tigress. The hosts were beaten decisively as the Dutch got bundled out for a meagre 42 runs.

Fahima Khatun and Rumana Ahmed picked 3 wickets each paving the base for the major collapse of the Netherlands line-up. Nahida Akter and Salma Khatun too bowled economic spells that were crucial for the collective bowling attack.
