Quarantine No.1: How Indian players are spending their time ahead of Women’s T20 Challenge
The Women’s T20 Challenge is all set to begin in the first week of November. The Indian players, who have been spending the past week in quarantine, are leaving for Dubai on Wednesday (October 21). During their isolated stay at the JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai, the players kept themselves occupied in different ways. Women’s CricZone looks at what the players were up to during the first phase of their quarantine.
It is well known that Jemimah Rodrigues is a social media sensation. A couple of days into the quarantine, Rodrigues shared an entertaining video commentating a match situation that saw her take a spectacular one-handed diving catch, in this case, on her bed!

With expectations having risen dramatically after that first post, the 20-year-old teamed up with Harleen Deol in an attempt to sum up her quarantine blues.
Hang in there, Jemi! Only one more leg to go!
Fitness was one of the more popular ways of killing time, with many of the players sharing their quarantine workouts with fans.
Punam Raut shared her excitement about getting back to cricket in the Women’s T20 Challenge. The Trailblazer batter spent her 31st birthday in quarantine.

Meanwhile, plenty of the players spent their time showcasing their off-field skills as well – dancing or drawing – while others simply chose to share the company of a good book or a cup of coffee.
Entertainment and workouts aside, the players also got their gear together for what is going to be the first tournament of the 2020-21 season. Priya Punia, for one, is buzzing to return to her run scoring ways.
