Press Release: CA Supports ICC bid for Commonwealth Games

Cricket Australia has confirmed support for the International Cricket Council's bid for the inclusion of Women's T20 Cricket into the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022.



Cricket Australia CEO Kevin Roberts said:



“It’s exciting to think that cricket could potentially feature at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Our women’s team are great ambassadors for the game and our country, inspiring the next generation of girls and boys in Australia to chase their sporting dreams."
