The Sri Lankan wicketkeeper has played 43 women’s One Day Internationals and 25 Twenty20 internationals to date. From the beginning, she has been used as an optional wicketkeeper for most of her playing career, but in spite of that, she has managed to carve a distinct identity for herself, collecting useful runs whilst stitching important stands.
Formerly, it was Mandora and presently, Rabeca is the first choice wicketkeeper with a stable batting average. But if there’s a thing that is lacking in her career, then it’s the number of opportunities she’s been given thus far.
