Nicola Jane Carey is an Australian allrounder, who plays for Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big bash league. The left handed batter is mostly known for her aggressive batting down the order. Not just her batting though, but also her ability to bowl economically, makes her a effective player for the team; and she has been a core member of the Sydney thunder squad over the years.
Carey has been quite unlucky during her International career, and inspite giving consistent performances at the domestic level, she is yet to make her International debut. Carey was a member of the victorious Southern Stars squad, that won the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 title in Sri Lanka, and was also a part of the 2014 T20 world cup, watching most of the matches through the sidelines.
