Known for her aggressive batting, ever since her appearance in school and county matches, it is by practice that Lee has evolved into a strong and dangerous batsman, who can take any bowler on a run-riot. If she gets going and sets her ground, no bowler is good enough to stop her. A testament to this ability was her knock of 90 runs in a WWC-2017 league match.
After a majestic knock of 169* runs in a provisional match, the stage was set for her International entry to represent South Africa. In a short span of time since her debut in 2011, Lee has played 102 matches for the Proteas across all the formats. She has a record partnership stand along with Dane Van Niekerk of 163 runs, the highest unbeaten partnership of all time in WT20 history.
She has also played for England Women’s county cricket, playing for Somerset in 2015. Recently, she guided Surrey to the semi-finals in 2017, and also had a good run in the #WBBL-2017 when she scored the joint 2nd fastest 100 in WBBL history.
