Kainat Imtiaz made her ODI debut on November 15, 2011, against Ireland and made her T20 debut on October 16, 2010, against Ireland.
Inspired by veteran Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami during Women’s Asia Cup in Pakistan in 2005, she decided to become a fast bowler. Owing to her wonderful performances, she was called by PCB for the camp of Pakistan ‘A’ team and was selected for the Pakistan ‘A’ team.
She was selected for the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup 2009, in England. She is the first-ever Ismaili woman to win cricket Gold Medal at Asian Games.
