Overview

Posiview-InPost

Wilson was part of the England squad that won the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup. Brought into the side because of the injury to Lauren Winfield she top scored in the first group game against India as England went on to lose. Wilson is able to play all around the ground and likes to keep the scoreboard ticking over. The change in the way that England play since the disappointing World T20 in 2016 is part of the reason that Wilson got her opportunity and is certainly making the most of it.

Having started at Somerset, Wilson moved to Middlesex in order to play in the top division of the County Championship and it paid dividends as she was given a central contract with England. She recently played in the WBBL for Sydney Thunder as well as Wellington Blaze in New Zealand. She was also a part of the Western Storm side that won the second Kia Super League.
