New South Wales to host Queensland in WNCL Final

New Update
Press Release

The New South Wales Breakers and Konica Minolta Queensland Fire will contest the Women's National Cricket League Final at North Sydney Oval next Saturday 9 February, after both teams secured finals berths with two last round wins.

With both finals berths up for grabs, the Breakers' two wins were enough to secure top spot and a home final, with Queensland's double-bonus point victory over Western Australia on Sunday seeing them leapfrog Tasmania into second spot on the ladder.

The Breakers, who will be contesting a remarkable 23rd straight finals appearance, will be seeking a 20th WNCL title and are the only team to make every final since the competition began in 1996/97, while Queensland will be looking to claim its first domestic 50-over title and become just the fourth team to do so.

Entry to the match is free, while the match will be streamed live via cricket.com.au and the CA Live App.
