Netherlands invite applications for the position of head coach

The Royal Dutch Cricket Board (KNBC) has invited applications for the position of head coach of the national team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the coaching of all Netherlands representative teams, both senior and junior.



All applicants are required to have a minimum UKCC Level 3 coaching qualification or an international equivalent.



The successful candidate will be required to prepare training programs for the development of the team and individual players. Additionally, they will play a lead role in the building and development of a pathway program in the country. This will require the coach to work closely with the men's head coach to make sure programs, methodology and goals of both teams are aligned.

The coach will also act as lead selector and a a mentor to assistant coaches and others in the pathway setup. They will require to work closely with club coaches across to country to identify, monitor and support the development of young players in the system.



Those interested must send in their applications by November 13, 2020. Successful candidates will be contacted within two week of the closing date for an interview.



Juliet Post's Netherlands side last played an international against Scotland last September during the ICC Women's T20 World Cup qualifiers in Scotland. They lost the game by 70 runs to finish sixth in the tournament.
