After donating Rs 10 lakh for Coronavirus aid on Monday (March 30), India ODI captain Mithali Raj did her bit ensuring some relief for the underprivileged during this nationwide lockdown. The 37-year-old Mithali was seen distributing daily essentials and food packets to migrant labourers at Gachibowli in Hyderabad – videos and pictures of which went viral on social media.

Using a face mask and gloves, Mithali was seen handing over packets to the people present. “I’m short of words to thank @team_sai & Smt. @M_Raj03 Ji for providing essentials to migrant workers from Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, at Hyderabad today. It was surprising for both myself and @abhisgbjym that you guys reached out to the needy in such a short notice,” said a twitter user along with the pictures.
