Australia's pace spearhead Megan Schutt and Tahlia McGrath have signed for Adelaide Strikers for the upcoming Women's Big Bash League. Schutt is currently the No. 1 bowler ICC T20I bowlers rankings after she became the first Australian woman to take a hattrick earlier this year.

Schutt claimed 12 wickets in the third season of WBBL. Along with her, McGrath too has been a part of the Strikers since the beginning and gradually became an integral part of both batting and bowling.

"Megan and Tahlia are both really important parts of the Strikers, both on and off the field," assistant coach Luke Williams said. "Megan is obviously at the top of her game at the moment and Tahlia has had some valuable international experience over the past couple of years and is becoming a really mature cricketer."

"Our goal is absolutely to make the final this year, and winning it would be even better," Williams told. "The team is looking relatively similar and I think consistency is really important for success.”

The Adelaide Strikers open their WBBL 04 campaign against Brisbane Heat at in Melbourne on 2 December.
