In a repeat of last year's final, Western Storm took on the Southern Vipers'. However, the match was quite anti-climatic as it was abandoned only 8.5 overs in due to heavy downpour.

For this match, Vipers' reshuffled their batting line-up with Tammy Beaumont opening with Danni Wyatt. Beaumont was dismissed for a golden duck by Freya Davies in the second over. Wyatt (27 off 20) and Suzie Bates started strongly (26* off 24). At the end of the Powerplay, Vipers' were on 45-1.

Vipers' looked set to put a challenging total on the board despite losing Wyatt as Bates kept the scoreboard ticking over, supported by Mignon du Preez (5* off 8). After 8.5 overs, Vipers' were on 62-2.

Vipers' would be disappointed they couldn't finish the match as they looked in a good position to post a big total on the board, going at a run rate of 7.01.

Both teams get two points each for the abandoned match with Western Storm now qualifying for Finals Day.
