Pakistan have announced their 15 member squad for the upcoming tour to Bangladesh and the home series against Australia for both the formats. Regular skipper Bismah Maroof is set to miss the tournament due to the surgery she had last month but she may join the team for the Australia series. Javeria Khan will lead the team in Maroof's absence.

Javeria Khan is one of the most experienced players of Pakistan. She has played in 88 ODIs and 75 T20Is so far and has over 3500 runs in both the formats. Not only a world-class batter, but she is also a right-arm off break bowler and has 28 wickets to her name.

Ayesha Zafar, who last played in ODIs and T20Is last year against New Zealand, has returned to the squad. Sidra Amin and Aiman Anwer, who both were part of the squad during the Sri Lanka tour earlier this year but missed the Asia Cup, found their places in the squad. 21-year old allrounder Umaima Sohail, who was part of the team during the Asia Cup, might get a chance to debut for the country.

The team will play 4 T20Is and 1 ODI against Bangladesh in Cox's Bazar from October 1 to October 8. Right after the series, the team will face Australia for  3 ODIs and 3 T20Is from October 18 to October 29 in Malaysia.
