In this ongoing World T20, Australia is currently the table topper after their ravishing performance in their opening match against Pakistan in Guyana. Ahead of the World T20, Pakistan had some great series throughout the year; where their notable series win was against New Zealand and Pakistan.

Ahead of their second group match against Ireland on Saturday, Mooney said, "This group is in a good space where we all get on really well and no one is left behind and I think that's really important with the group moving forward in this tournament. making sure we all on each other's side and have each other's backs."

In their first match, Mooney along with Alyssa Healy added a smashing 72-run partnership for the first wicket. Talking about her partnership with Alyssa Healy, Mooney shared, "We spoke about that. It was probably going to be a good wicket with the new ball early and to sort of taking advantage of that. Alyssa did that very well. It was nice being at the other end, just watching her do her thing. Thankfully, she hit a lot of boundaries, so we didn't have to run too much in the heat."

"Touring can be a bit of a lonely world sometimes, being in a bit of a bubble away from home," Mooney explained about their tour to West Indies for the mega event. "Fortunately with the people we have in this team and resources and support staff and selflessness of the group we have, making sure everyone is looking after one another."

They have already spent one month outside and the team is looking forward to the next round. "It's been a good month so far and we're looking forward to the next chapter."

Players have found some unique ways to take a mental break from the game. For them, dress-up poker has become another source of entertainment there. "Everyone has to come as their alter ego, it's been quite funny some of the dressing up that's gone on," Mooney added. "I guess it's important now that whatever we do, we do it well and make sure that moving forward we're improving every day."

Australia will face Ireland on November 11 at Providence Stadium, Guyana.
