The ground which showed India captain Harmanpreet Kaur's blistering hundred on the very first match of the World T20 2018; has shown a miserable batting by Bangladesh after being collapsed within 46 at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. Having started well, Bangladesh restricted Windies within 106 in their allotted overs whereas Deandra Dottin's five-wicket haul dismantled Bangladesh.

"I think we hurried a little to add those runs, and I was the No. 3, and I couldn't play my role as I've been on the wicket," said Jahanara Alam, the pace spearhead of Bangladesh who got promoted at No. 3 in the batting order.

The star of the night, Dottin had something else to say. "Well, I rate this one as one of the top performances I've had. Most of the performances I've had in the past were with the bat, but coming through with the ball is very tremendous."

"I feel that in this condition, a little dew was there, a little movement there, not too many first what I faced before in practice, but I got caught by a little slow movement," told Alam while Dottin as an opener was a surprise for all. As she said, "it's not a secret, but I guess it's just to get off to -- to utilise the six overs wisely, as in gain a quick start."

While Dottin has a dream of scoring two more hundreds in this World T20, Alam too has a target of bowling a little faster with a good swing.

Having played in the atmosphere with the crowd, Dottin has enjoyed that a lot. "I think it's fabulous playing in front of the crowd with the showcase that we have put on with the ball and the fielding and stuff. It was great. Just want to thank almighty God for giving us the strength and the health to go there and get the job done, and we want to thank all the fans who came out and supported, as well."

Alam's one-handed stunner was praiseworthy. Talking about that she shared, "I thought, it was my catch, thought about it definitely, but then when I ran through to the ball, then I thought suddenly that that is near to the 'keeper, and when I -- the second time I thought even the keeper hand is a seven, okay, so I looked once to the keeper, and I saw the wicketkeeper stood, and then I just looked up and ball had already fallen down. I just raised my hand, and the ball came into my hand, and I was surprised, what happened. Actually, that was my luck, I think that was."

Both the teams are hopeful of doing great in the next matches. In Alam's words, "we do believe that we can, and with that belief, we are moving forward."
