Ireland's vice-captain and all-rounder Kim Garth, who stood in as a captain in the absence of Laura Delany against West Indies has been ruled out because of the injury.

Cricket Ireland confirmed Garth will be replaced by Hannah Little for the upcoming Zimbabwe series.

Little, who plays her club cricket with Pembroke and for the Scorchers in the Toyota Super 3s, has been training with the senior squad and will be in line for her senior international debut if selected to play.

Mark Rausa, Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services at Cricket Ireland, said of Kim Garth:

“Kim has been made been unavailable for the upcoming Zimbabwe series due to a hip injury and is currently undergoing further scans and investigations.”

Starting from July 3rd, Ireland will take on Zimbabwe for three One Day matches and 3 T20Is.
