Germany announce squad for five-match T20I series against Austria
Germany will play a five-match T20I series against Austria to be hosted at Seebarn Cricket Ground in Lower Austria. Matches will be held between August 12 and 15, with a single game every day except the date of August 13, when two matches will be played.

The series will be the first women's international tournament since the COVID-19 pandemic forced all international sport to be abandoned.

Anuradha Doddaballapur, the former Karnataka player, has been named captain of the side, while Sharanya Sadarangani, who recently became the first female to play in a the ECS T10 league, is the first wicket-keeper.

Through the lockdown, Germany had the opportunity to learn from England's World Cup winning duo of Heather Knight and Anya Shrubsole who interacted with the squad and exchanged ideas about the game over a video conference.
