Gawde Diksha's all-round performance helps Goa win

On the second day of Women’s Cricket Under 19 One Day League Delhi played Maharashtra in the Bokakhat District Sports Association Ground, Bokakhat. As Maharashtra batters crumbled at the mere score of 109, Madhu of Team Delhi took a 5 wicket haul. Delhi chased the total and won the match by 5 wickets.

Andhra won the match against Kerala by 92 runs, Sireesha as helped her team set a score of 184, followed by joint bowling efforts to knock Kerala batters out at 92.

Anjali Singh picked up 5 wickets with the economy of 2.48 and scored 35, which led to Uttar Pradesh winning the match by 89 runs.

Jyoti Giri’s 4 wicket haul to restrict Arunachal Pradesh to score 80 runs, followed aggressive batting from the openers helped Uttarakhand win keeping all their wickets intact.

Batting first, Manipur scored a total of 140 runs with 60 extras, Priyangka’s 3 wickets alongside Priti Tarkar’s 2 wickets and others taking a wicket each, helped their team win by 29 runs.

Shefali Verma scored a match-winning century(125) supported by her team’s bowling performance helped Haryana win by 37 runs as Hyderabad failed to chase the total even after Lakshmi Prasanna’s 76 and Trisha’s 67.

Hrutu Patel’s unbeaten stand alone 89 helped Baroda chase down the total of 178 as Kanika Ahuja of Punjab’s 64 run inning goes in vain.

Raut’s 70 helped her team reach a decent total as Chhattisgarh team fell at 70. Simran Shaikh knocked two Chhattisgarh batters at single digit and ran out two batters.

Tanya Rao’s 42 helped her team get over the line, as Vidarbha batters posed the total of 132. Saurashtra triumphed with 3 wickets.

Amonkar Diksha’s 71 and Gawde Diksha’s unbeaten 50 helped the Goa score 236 and followed by Diksha taking a 4 wicket haul as Tripura failed to score the total. Goa won by a mammoth  131 runs.
