Four matches of the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) have been relocated to help the visiting India men’s side utilise the bio-secure training environment, the organisers confirmed on Wednesday (October 28).  The matches on November 17 and 18 which were to be held at the Blacktown International Sportspark will now be happening at Sydney Showground Stadium.

The matches which are being relocated are Sydney Sixers-Brisbane Heat, Sydney Thunder-Melbourne Renegades, Adelaide Strikers-Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder-Sydney Sixers. However, the encounters will be played at their existing start times.

The Indian men’s squad will arrive in Sydney on November 12 where they will quarantine ahead of the three ODIs, three T20Is and four Test matches to be played between November 27 and January 19. The Indian women’s side is also slated to visit Australia in January next year for a limited-overs series.
