The tournament opener on August 31 will see the Trinbago Knight Riders square off against Barbados Royals. The WCPL will see four games this season and will be followed by seven games at 6IXTY (a ten-over tournament). These 11 games are being viewed as a monumental step forward towards the growth and development of the women’s game in the region and will encourage young girls to take up the sport in the days to come.
