India on the brink of sealing the series.
SIX! That does it. Rodrigues steps out and creams Ranasinghe for six over long on. That's her fifty as well.
7 wicket win for India. Good that they are racking up runs without significant contributions from Mandhana.
Patil with her unbeaten, maiden fifty impressed as well.

Both batters tick singles off Athapaththu:
IND: 128/3 in 15
Siriwardene bowls outside off, Patil gets outside the line, takes it on the full, and swings for the fences. One bounce FOUR.
FOUR: Reverse sweep-switch hit and that takes Patil past Rodrigues. She's on 46.
FIFTY with a FOUR! Patil executes the same shot as the first ball, this time sweeping on the bounce, not the full. The timing is just as good, so is the placement. Excellent innings, she's made full use of the promotion.
Role reversal now: Rodrigues happy yo keep turning the strike over.
De Silva into the attack.
Singles stolen in the first couple of balls. The batters get together for a mid-pitch chat.
Two more singles. Another mid-pitch chat. What's cooking?
Patil gets outside off, tries to paddle it over short fine. It's down the leg, so she slips. WIDE.
She tries it again. Doesn't connect.
Now she's shifting her stance. de Silva aborts. All happening.
FOUR, finally. After the cat and mouse, Patil steps out and punches it over cover.
IND: 110/3, need 25 off 24.
Ranasinghe's off spin continues. Mid off up, deep cover out, three guarding the legside boundary.
FOUR: Patil is changing gears. steps out, takes the ball on the full and just clears mid off.
100 up from India. Rodrigues 41, Patil 31. Applause from a group of about 20 Indian supporters sitting under a fluttering tri coulour.
IND: 101/3 in 12 needing 34 off 30
Prabhodani back into the attack.
FOUR: Patil shifts her stance to outside leg, creates room, accentuating the left-arm over angle. Swings through the offside, and connects well over cover.
IND: 92/3 in 11.
6 overs to go.
Patil is happy to play second fiddle. Picking up singles easily.
FOUR: Rodrigues refuses to let up the pace: Steps out and hits athapaththu on the up past mid off, who is in the circle. Picking her areas smartly.
IND: 85/3 in 10
SHOT OF THE DAY! Rodrigues steps out to the around the wicket left arm spin of Ravikumar. Hits inside out over cover. FOUR. Great sound off the bat.
FOUR: Rodrigues showing off her backfoot skills now. Right leg gets close to the line of the ball, and she cuts it between backward point and third man.
IND: 76/3 in 9
India happy to tick the singles through the onside. No midwicket in the circle.
MIS HIT: Rodrigues, steps out, then decides to sweep. Top edge lands short of deep square leg.
FOUR: Patil steps out, doesn't cover the line or length, but hits through the line on the up beautifully. Between cover and extra cover who are both inside the circle.
IND: 65/3 in 8
Athapaththu into the attack.
Patil feigns foot movement, then late cuts the short of length ball to third man for 2
Two dots, then steals a single from fine leg. No boundaris in the last 12 balls.
Tight over, just 4 off it.
IND: 56/3 in 7
Reminder: this is a 17 over game so poewrplay is only five overs. Field spreads now.
Siriwardene into the attack, a single brings up 50 for India.
5-4 offside fields for both batters. No boundaries and some good fielding from SL in the over.
IND: 52/3 in 6
Last over of the powerplay and Ravikumar is into the attack.
FOUR: After Patil stole a sharp single the previous ball, Rodrigues steps out, takes the left arm spinner on the full, and punches in the gap with geometric precision.
Healthy run rate for India in the powerplay.
IND: 48/3 in 5
SIX: Rodrigues takes a step down the track and lofts Ranasinghe over mid off gloriously. Great sound off the bat.
OUT: Bhatia looks to do what Rodrigues did, and hit over the off side. But her batswing isn't as straight and clean. slices it to cover where Athapaththu takes a simple catch running back.
Ranasinghe now has 3 wickets.
And this is a surprise. Anuja Patil walks out, not Harmanpreet Kaur.
Right arm medium pacer Kanchana into the attack. Prabhodani seems to be the Mandhana specialist and is not needed any more!
Bowling round arm outseingers, but deep square leg and deep mid wicket are on the fence.
FOUR: Rodrigues counters with a boundary on the up past the bowler. It was in the air but perfectly in the gap between Kanchana and mid off.
Three wides in the over from Kanchana. all outside off. Not sure why the legside boundaries are being guarded.
MISHIT: Rodrigues survives as a mishit just clears mid off. Looking to hit over the offside again. Good intent, can't fault her there.
Another wide. The fourth. Outside off again.
FOUR: Thick outside edge to third man, who is fielding inside the circle. A strange over in terms of field placing.
IND: 31/2 off 3
Oshadi Ranasinghe to Mandhana:
FOUR! Poor ball, short, asking to be hit, Mandhana pulls through square leg.
OUT! Shock dismissal really. Ball seems to be slanting down leg, Mandhana walks across and seems to leave it, and it clips leg stump! SL are elated and Mandhana is a little surprised.
OUT! Double blow. On the stumps, Mithali looks to sweep as square leg is in. Gets a top edge to the same fielder. India under pressure, and after a shock first ball, Ranasinghe's off spin has India's openers!!
Taniya Bhatia to the crease. Good to see her being given the No. 4 slot with consistency.
IND: 18/2 in 2.
Mithali square drives her first ball from Prabhodani for FOUR through the legs of point. Then takes a quick two off the next.
I've seen urgency in the running from Mithali int he T20Is that wasn't there in the ODIs. Good to see the adaption.
FOUR: Full and on the pads, she places it perfectly between mid on the midwicket. Shot of the match.
A slip and two points to Mandhana. Deep cover and third man on the fence.
IND: 12/0 in 1.
17th and final over
short third, backward point, point, and a straighter cover inside the circle on the off. square leg inside on the on.
OUT: de Silva cant find the power to beat long off. Radha takes the catch this time. Good over so far fro India.
No boundaries, but two stolen off the last ball. SL end on a very respectable 133 for 5. This will be an interesting chase.
Join the live blog again in a bit.
Three: de Silva steps outside off and paddles it behind the keeper.
4-5 offside field now.
DROPPED CATCH: de Silva slips as she swings to deep square, where Radha Yadav drops it again. Didn't have to move much.
The butterfinger bug is spreading today.
SL: 126/4 in 16, last over coming up.
Right, after a break, we're back. Sorry for the interruption folks!
Patil beginning the last three overs. de Silva and Lokusooriya batting. SL's best hitters
The two are stealing singles from the off side infield at the moment.
OVERTHROW FOUR! de Silva hits to point, needless bullet throw from Deepti bisects long on and deep midwicket for four!
SL; 118/4 in 15
SHOT! Arundhati back, Siriwardene gives herself room and smashes it between mid off and cover for FOUR. She's really batting intelligently, all her risks have been high percentage shots.
DROPPED! Siriwardene steps across and connects well, but finds Mandhana at deep midwicket. She then drops a regulation catch. That's the second one down today from India.
SL 89/2 after 11.
SIX! Siriwardene uses her feet against Poonam, gets to the pitch and lofts beautifully over the bowler. Picturesque!
Some good thinking from SL in this over, including a well run single.
SL:81/2 after 10.
Athapaththu punches beautifully off the backfoot to deep cover, the area where the puddle is. Arundhathi dives to stop four.
FOUR: Siriwardene slices over point deliberately. She's shown good awareness of the gaps over fielders.
SL: 72/2 in 9
Interesting field to Siriwardene from Poonam. Deep square, deep mid, long on, no one else on the on side. Deep cover on the off. Siriwardene responds by lofting over mid off. A slow outfield denies her four.
There's a small crowd of a bout a 100 people applauding SL.
SL: 61/2 after 8
Radha Yadav into the attack. Left arm over to Athapaththu. 6-3 to both right and left hander. No deep square leg. Two points and a third man.
SL: 55/2 in 7.
Remember this is a 17 over game.
Poonam Yadav into the attack as the 5 over powerplay is over..
FOUR: Athapaththu sweeps again, gets four through square leg. Picking the areas where there are no boundary fielders.
SL: 52/2 in 6.
SHOT! 5-4 offside field to Perera, Deep midwicket and long on are the fielders back. Perera gets outside off and swings it over square leg for FOUR.
WICKET: Patil responds with a fast shooter on the stumps. Perera tries to pull but is too slow. Bowled.
New bat is Siriwardena. 5-4 offside field, deep cover and deep midwicket out.
A slow outfield prevents what should have been a four for Siriwardene.
SL: 46/2 in 5.
Left hander Hasini Perera is the new batter, and she copies Athapaththu's sweep over square leg for FOUR. Two left handers at the crease now. Deepti Sharma is bowling well to them, getting some turn.
SL: 39/1 in 4.
Anuja replaces Arundhati:
RISKY SINGLE: Athapaththu scrambles home at the strikers end after calling Mendis through for a tight single from point.
FOUR: Mendis slices through point off the front foot. Most boundaries have come when she's got width.
Interesting that India aren't using the 6-3 offside field for her.
WICKET: Mandis can't make the most of her luck. Caught at long on for 19. Mistimes after sung her feet.
SIX: Athapaththu gets a fast, full ball on middle and launches it straight back over the bowlers head. Frenetic over.
SL: 31/1 in 3.
Dropped catch! Mendis mistimes a slog off Deepti, but Arundhati then mistimes a jump at midwicket. Wasn't going fast, should have been taken.
FOUR: Athapaththu attacks India's leg stump lime plan with a sweep for four over square leg.
SL 19/0 after 2
Mendis makes her intentions clear. Swats a full ball from Arundhati through covers, then pulls the short one over midwicket. Two fours off the first two balls. The penultimate ball of the over is also launched, on the up, over cover. Prompts a field change, from 6-3 to 5-4.
Great start for SL: 14 /0 after 1
Anuja Patil's all-round brilliance leads India to series win
In the 4th Twenty-20 of India’s tour of Sri Lanka, the tourists won by seven wickets, with eight balls to spare. The match was reduced to 17 overs a side due to a wet outfield because of heavy rainfall the previous day. In the first innings, Sri Lanka batting first, posted 134-5 on the board. Yasoda Mendis and Chamari Athapththu got their team off to a flyer of a start, taking 27 runs off the first 2.4 overs before the former was dismissed for 19 off 12. Athapththu continued the onslaught on her way to 31 off 26. She put on…
