Match Over
Ireland win by 8 wickets and will finish as the table toppers for Group B. It has been a simple formula for Ireland. Win the toss, field first, restrict the opposition, Shillington gives a good start and make a mockery of the chase. Meanwhile Uganda caused an upset beating Thailand in the last game. But their campaign comes to an end here. Onto the Thailand vs Scotland game which will decide who will join Ireland in the semis.
10th Over
The game is more or less set in favour of Ireland. Lewis and Delany are set and in no hurry to finish the game. They are batting calmly.
WICKET
Shillington falls for another good score of 27, this time cleaned up by Musamali. She has given brilliant starts to the Irish team in all the 3 games but hasn't been able to finish the games.
6th Over
Looks like Ireland hasn't yet received any tough competition in this tournament. They are smoothly chasing another target well led by Shillington. End of the powerplay and they stand 41/1.

Metcalfe takes her 3rd wicket. Uganda's half side is in the pavilion now. Musamali is gone for 6.
10th Over
Metcalfe takes her second wicket in the 9th over of the innings of Uganda captain Awino. The player of the match for Uganda in the last game Nakisuuyi has joined Musamali at the crease. Uganda 26/4.
6th Over
It's the end of the powerplay and Ireland have definitely won it. Safe to say they are in with better preparation with 7 games played over the last month against White Ferns and Bangladesh. Uganda 17/3.
WICKET
A new bowler and a wicket tradition continues for Ireland. Metcalfe strikes and Candiru is OUT. Ireland 14/3 (4.2)
4th Over
Isobel Joyce and Richardson, both have taken a wicket each. Uganda are reduced to 14/2. Candiru who won them the last game is out in the middle.

Welcome
Welcome to Match 10 of the ICC World T20 Qualifiers. A win for Ireland will put them topping the Group. Whereas if they lose and Scotland win the other encounter, it will come down to the NRR. A win for Uganda doesn't completely ensure them a place in the semis. They would expect Thailand to beat Scotland to comfortably ensure a place in the semis.

Metcalfe leads the charge in thrashing Uganda's dreams

Coming to the 10th game of the Qualifiers, both Uganda and Ireland were hopeful for a win as it would secure their place in the semi-finals. It was Ireland who emerged on top, successfully chasing down 78, winning by eight wickets and over seven overs to spare. Ireland won the toss and elected to field first. With the top-order all being dismissed in single digits, Uganda was in trouble, finding themselves at 24/4.
