Following India's refusal to travel to England for a potential tri-series - also due to COVID-19 restrictions - South Africa were meant to play four ODIs and two T20Is against England in September. However that tour is now in doubt.

However, with the borders of a few of the Caribbean islands closed, many of the West Indies players have been unable to access training facilities, and have not yet returned to the field.
Meanwhile, a group of 24 England players have been training since the last week of June. Over the last few weeks, they have been training within a bio-secure bubble in Derby, playing a string of 50-over practice matches.
Heather Knight and co. have not played an international match since they beat West Indies in their final group match of the T20 World Cup in March this year. The ECB have organised the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint trophy, a 50-over domestic competition that will see eight regional teams competing. The tournament will begin on August 29.
