BCCI changes inter-state women’s one-day calendar due to lack of umpires

Twelve matches were played on the third day of Senior India Women's One Day League across the country. Here is the round up:

Elite Group A and B

Haryana vs Punjab

Punjab beat Haryana by 5 wickets as their captain Taniya Bhatia hit another fifty, this time in a winning cause chasing Haryana's score of 140 with over 8 overs to spare. Batting first Haryana opener Bhawna Ohlan scored 68 as none of the batters reached 20. Mehek Kasar took 3 wickets for Punjab.

Punjab 141/5 (T Bhatia 56*, S Rana 2/16) beat Haryana 140/10 (B Ohlan 68, M Kasar 3/18) by 5 wickets.

Railways vs Vidarbha

Railways secure an astounding victory beating Vidarbha by 137 runs as Meshram scores 92 against her former state side. Both Parween and Raut scored 30s for Railways. Sneh Rana scalped 4 wickets for the Railways as Fulmali top scored with 35.

Railways 220/6 (M Meshram 92, D Kasat 2/35) beat Vidarbha 83/10 (BS Fulmali 35*, S Rana 4/17) by 137 runs.

Chattisgarh vs Saurashtra

An all round performance by Chattisgarh captain M Shalini as she scores a fifty and bags 3 wickets to score a win against Saurashtra by 50 runs in a low scoring encounter. None of the Saurashtra batters could cross the score of 21 as they finished with 120/9. Chavda bags 3 wickets for the losing side.

Chattisgarh 170/6 (M Shalini 59, N Chavda 3/26) beat Saurashtra 120/9 (PS Nimavat 21*, M Shalini 3/22) by 50 runs.

Gujarat vs Kerala

Kruthikaben bags 2 wickets as score 18 runs in a losing cause as Kerala claim an easy victory over Gujarat's score of 98. 3 of Kerala's players play a knock of 20+ with Deepthi top scoring with 24. Skipper Asha S bags 3 wickets for the Kerala side.

Kerala 103/4 (Deepthi JS 24, Kruthikaben 2/20) beat Gujarat 98/10 (Kruthikaben 18, Asha S 3/12) by 6 wickets.

Mumbai vs Tripura

Half century by Tripura opener M Debnath goes in vain as an all round Mumbai side chase an easy total of 129 set by Tripura. Rodrigues and Borwankar score 32 each for Mumbai with Das bagging 3 wickets  for them.

Mumbai 133/6 (J Rodrigues 32, AB Das 3/26) beat Tripura 129/10 (M Debnath 58, H Kazi 2/11) by 4 wickets.

Bengal vs Tamil Nadu

Niranjana Nagarajan slams a century to help put 195 on the board for Tamil Nadu as they beat Bengal by 36 runs with their opener Sharma scoring a duck. None of the other players could score much for Tamil Nadu. Mahapatra top scored for Bengal with 37 as Aich bagged 2/29 for Bengal in a losing cause.

Tamil Nadu 195/8 (N Nagarajan 100, SP Aich 2/29) beat Bengal 159/10 (M Mahapatra 37, SB Keerthana 3/41) by 36 runs.

Elite Group C

J&K vs Madhya Pradesh

Aparna Shrivasthava bags 5 wickets as Madhya Pradesh beats J&K; by 85 runs after bundling them for 70 in a chase of 155. Mandlik top scores with 44 for the winning side. Sandhya and Nadia Chowdhary pick 3 wickets each for J&K.;

Madhya Pradesh 155/8 (B Mandlik 44, N Chowdhary 3/28) beat J&K; 70/10 (MS Salathia 24, A Shrivasthava 5/8) by 85 runs.

Odisha vs Uttar Pradesh

Captain Madhusmita Behera's knock of a half century and bagging 4 wickets helps Odisha win against Uttar Pradesh by 6 wickets. Adita scores 44 for the losing with Kanojiya bagging 3 wickets with the exception of Behera. Meher scores 34 while Priyadarshini picks 2 wickets for Odisha.

Odisha 142/4 (M Behera 50, R Kanojiya 3/21) beat Uttar Pradesh 141/8 (Aditi 44, M Behera 4/13) by 6 wickets.

Himachal vs Team Rajasthan

SM Singh's unbeaten 33 and all round performance by Himachal bowlers help them beat Team Rajasthan by 4 wickets. Ansari, Kanwer and Kumari bag 2 wickets each for Himachal with opener Nikita Chauhan scoring 32. Kalal, the only bright spot for Rajasthan bagged 3 wickets for them.

Himachal 124/6 (SM Singh 33*, SS Kalal 3/23) beat Rajasthan (TB Vaishnav 29, TP Kanwer 2/12) 121/10 by 4 wickets.

Meghalaya 152/10 (S Purandare 84, V Karuna Jain 2/10) beat Nagaland 129/10 (Munia 38, V Mahajan 4/23) by 23 runs.

CAP vs Team Uttarakhand

Team Uttarakhand beats CAP in a low scoring encounter by 16 runs as Manisha Pradhan bags 4 wickets for them. Gouher bags 4 wickets for CAP in a losing encounter. M Kothiyal top scores with 36.

Team Uttarakhand 138/10 (M Kothiyal 36, Gouher 4/13) beat CAP 122/10 (Anagha 29, M Pradhan 4/24) by 16 runs.

Arunachal Pradesh vs Sikkim

Suvalaxmi Rout's century helps Arunchal beat Sikkim by 34 runs in the clash between the two sides from the east. TO Lepcha scores 60 as Upendran bags 2 wickets and scores 17. Yapu picks 2 wickets for the winning side.
