The United States of America have qualified for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup qualifiers by winning the Americas Region Qualifiers tournament.

In the Day 2 of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier 2019, USA and Canada met for the second of the three-match series at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill in Florida. USA named unchanged side that won the first match whereas Canada gave a debut to Monali Patel.

Canada won the toss and elected to field first. USA lost the star batter from the previous match Rendler quickly for just 7. Skipper Sindhu built a 68-run partnership for the second wicket with the opener Chandhrasekar. The partnership was broken in 15th over when Chandhrasekar was runout for 32 off 49 deliveries. Two overs later Sindhu was run out for 38 off 30 deliveries. The USA posted a total of 113-6 as Bhaskar remained unbeaten on 22 off 21 deliveries.

Chasing 114 for victory, Canada lost the opener and number 3 batter at the score of 15. The other opener Perera and Mirchandani built a 17 run partnership but both the batters departed within 2 runs and 4 deliveries and Canada were 34-4 after 8 overs. Chuntell Martin played a knock of 20 off 17 deliveries which was the highest for Canada but she didn't get assistance from other batters. The Canadian inning was wrapped up in 19th over for a total of 76. Iftikhar took 4 wickets for the USA.

For her 4-19 Uzma Iftikhar was awarded player of the match as USA won the match by 37 runs and take unassailable lead of 2-0 in three-match series.

The final fixture will be played on 19th May at the same venue which has only academic interest. The hosts will be aiming for a clean sweep whereas Canada will be trying to salvage a consolation victory.
