Damani Hurricanes defeated Challenger Blizzards twice on Saturday (December 12) in the ongoing UCA Elite T20 League to take an unassailable 3-0 lead with the fifth and final match to be played on Sunday (December 13). Earlier on Friday, the Hurricanes had won the second match while the tournament opener was abandoned due to wet outfield.

In the first match of the day, Hurricanes batting first, were all out for 65 in 19.4 overs, thanks to some disciplined bowling from the Blizzards' bowlers. Hurricanes skipper Immaculate Nakisuyi top-scored with 15 runs with her other teammates managing only single digits.

In reply, Blizzards fell eight runs short despite knocks from skipper Kewin Awino (15) and Najjumba (11 not out).

Nakisuyi picked up two wickets for Hurricanes conceding just nine runs in her four overs.
