Having travelled from Karachi to Dubai, Pakistan and West Indies prepare themselves for the first ODI of a three-match series. While Pakistan know the conditions well hosting most of their home series' here, West Indies come in with the upper hand, having won the T20 series.

Pakistan will be eager to get their campaign off to winning start. Having surrendered the T20 trophy to the Windies, in front of their home crowd, revenge will be on Pakistan's mind. They will want to establish their dominance over the Windies in the longer format and gain the ICC Championship points up for grabs.
