Two-wicket hauls from Aiman Anwer, Sana Mir and Bismah Maroof dismantled Bangladesh for 98 in their second warm-up game prior to the World T20.

Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. They didn't get the start what they are accustomed to. Spinners strangled Pakistan from the beginning. In-form opener Nahida Khan got out within 3rd over. Soon Omaima Sohail too joined her. Pressure fell upon Bismah Maroof and Javeria Khan to resurrect the innings.

They both added 28 runs for the fourth wicket before Javeria Khan got dismissed by Khadija Tul Kubra. Soon, Bismah Maroof too fell; after scoring 22 off 32. Wickets started falling at regular intervals. Nida Dar tried her best but lack of support from other batters ended their innings within 106/7 at the end of their allotted overs.

For Bangladesh, Salma Khatun and Khadija Tul Kubra picked up 2 wickets while Rumana Ahmed and Fahima Khatun scalped one.

Chasing a relatively easy target of 107, Bangladesh got the big blow when they lost their opener Ayasha Rahman in the very first over. Pace spearhead Jahanara Alam came at no. 3 but couldn't perform well as she fell for 2. Bangladesh lost three wickets within the powerplay. Fargana Hoque tried to build a partnership with Nigar Sultana at first and then with Rumana Ahmed. But no one was able to give a good support to Hoque.

Anwer, Mir and Maroof induced the wobble with their bowling, as Bangladesh went from 65 for 5 to 98 for 9, losing by 8 runs to Pakistan.
