Bangladesh squad announced for the upcoming Asia Cup

As the Asia Cup is around the corner, Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the squad that will represent Bangladesh in the upcoming Asia Cup to be played in Malaysia. The tournament will take place from June 3-10, 2018.



The seventh edition of the tournament comprises six teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and hosts Malaysia. Each team will play against the others once and the top two teams will compete in the final.



Bangladesh team includes 15 members with Salma Khatun leading the squad. The players are a blend of youth and experience which have been selected in the squad. Skipper Salma Khatun and all-rounder Rumana Ahmed are the most experienced players of the team. The team will leave for Kuala Lumpur on 1st June.
