Bangladesh Cricket Board have announced 18-member squad for the series against Pakistan. After almost a 2-month gap, the team will play four T20Is and one ODI from October 1. All the matches will be held in Cox’s Bazar.

Bangladesh have been in stupendous form this year. They have kept almost same squad for this series also. Ritu Moni, Suraiya Ajmin, Sharmin Akhter Supta, Lata Mondal and Murshida Khatun are the new inclusions in the team. Ritu Moni last played in T20I in 2016 against Sri Lanka; whereas Suraiya Ajmin, who was a part of the team in their tour to South Africa, is all set to make her debut in the shortest format. She has played 3 ODIs till date.

19-year-old Murshida Khatun, who made her debut against South Africa earlier this year, has found a place in the squad after missing three back-to-back tournaments. Sharmin Akhter Supta and Lata Mondal, who made their last appearances in T20I in 2016, have returned to the squad. Jannatul Ferdus, who was last part of the team in their historic Asia Cup campaign, couldn't make it to the squad.

Salma Khatun will lead the team in the shortest format whereas Rumana Ahmed will lead the team in ODI.
