The spin spearhead of Windies Cricket, Anisa Mohammed and the destructive all-rounder of South Africa, Chloe Tryon both are on a verge of new records. Mohammed will play her 100th T20I match whereas it will be the 50th T20I match for Tryon tomorrow when both the teams  face each other.

Anisa Mohammed has played more than 200 International matches where she has taken nearly 260 scalps in her name. While Tryon has made more than 120 International appearances with more than 50 wickets to her name.

In this ongoing World T20, Windies and South Africa both have won one match.

While talking about her cricketing career and her 100th T20I cap, Anisa Mohammed said: "I love representing the West Indies, it is something I look forward to and why I always wake up and work hard every day. We are not just a team that have come together from a bunch of islands, we are a family, and this works in our favour on the field."

"It is special to have a century of caps in T20 cricket, but it would be even better to win this tournament here at home in the West Indies, that would be the ultimate achievement,” she further added.

Speaking about their crucial match against South Africa, Anisa Mohammed said: "We have played against them recently, we went back and looked at videos and where we fell down. We have worked hard on those things to put it right."

"I was blown away by the support in Guyana and I can’t wait to see how many people will come out to support us here in Saint Lucia tomorrow. We still have five games to go, as I am confident my team will go all the way and it is about building confidence every game."

Chloe Tryon has expressed that she is happy as the team's plans are falling in place. "It is exciting. It is great to get my 50th T20I cap tomorrow in this tournament. It is really exciting and is a dream come true for me. We are playing the hosts, so it will be a good exciting match with a big crowd. We know we will need to play our best tomorrow to beat the Windies."

"We have learnt a lot from the last game and it was great to have some time with the bat and ball. We played sensible cricket and a lot of positives to take out of yesterday’s game and take it into tomorrow to put in a great performance," she further added.

"I'd like to make my first 50 and go beyond that, I haven't made one in T20 international cricket yet so it's something I do want to tick off the list. I hope that when I do get the opportunity in the middle that I'm able to take the team over the line, but with the quality batters that we have, I almost also don't want it to get to a point where I'm needed, we've got such great firepower up front."

Tryon wants to be a match-winner in the match. She shared, "I do want to be a match-winner though. It's been frustrating because it's always felt like when I get to my 20s and 30s I just lose my wicket so I've been working hard on working myself in and getting the team over the line. I want to play smarter and take more responsibility in the middle."
