Thunder have made three changes in their squad ahead of their Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy clash against Central Vipers on Saturday (September 5). Alice Clarke, Rebecca Duckworth and Liberty Heap have been called up replacing Kate Cross, Sophie Ecclestone and Emma Lamb who returned to England’s bio-secure training bubble ahead of their T20I series against the West Indies which starts September 21.

Thunder started their campaign with a victory over Lightning in a rain-truncated encounter on August 29 before suffering a four-wicket defeat at the hands of Central Sparks two days later. While Ecclestone scored an unbeaten 60 in the opening fixture, Cross starred with the bat scoring 45 against Sparks.



With four points from two games, Thunder are second in North Group the standings behind Northern Diamonds who have nine points from the same number of games.
