In this part of our series of players to watch, we look at the England internationals that will grace the latest instalment of the Kia Super League. It will be the last opportunity for these players to impress the selectors before the ICC World T20 later this year.

Sarah Taylor – Surrey Stars

The England wicketkeeper is arguably one of the best stumpers in the world right now. A top order batter who likes to dominate bowling attacks and scores quickly.

Taylor has moved from Lancashire Thunder who she was based for the first two seasons of the Kia Super League even though she only played in last years competition. It is a move that will mean she is closer to her home and family.

Nat Sciver – Surrey Stars

Another Surrey Stars player in our list. She is the captain of the side and took them to the semi-final last year. An allrounder who can hit all around the ground and is known for her innovative shot the ‘Natmeg.’ A more than useful bowler she will pick up important wickets with her medium pace.

Katherine Brunt - Yorkshire Diamonds

The all-rounder from Barnsley is an important part of the Yorkshire Diamonds bowling attack. As reliable a bowler that there is around, she will be a key bowler during the powerplay overs and at the death. If she doesn’t pick up wickets she will still be economical.

Over the last couple of years, she has become a consistent source of lower order runs, a hard-hitting batter she could be the difference between Yorkshire Diamonds winning and losing.

Sophie Ecclestone - Lancashire Thunder

Having become a regular in the England side during the winter’s Ashes Ecclestone has shown what a calm character she is. Every time an obstacle presents itself she finds a way to overcome it and continues to get even better.

Katie George - Southern Vipers

A young fast bowler who impressed England Coach Mark Robinson during last years' KSL final. A bowler that gives everything. She can sometimes go for runs as she is still learning her game but she also takes wickets. A good Kia Super League this summer and she should book her place at the world T20.
